Good News from the Government on Road Closures

MP discusses potential changes in traffic regulation laws with Streets Alive.

The Minister of State for Transport, Rosie Winterton MP, has written to Streets Alive to confirm that her office will look into changes to the legislation that governs Traffic Regulation Orders. What this means is that in future, thanks to concerns raised by Streets Alive, the cost of applying for and publicising road closures may be cut.
