Street events can be used to promote greener travel options.
After street parties a survey of residents can be used to offer local travel information. Streets Alive has carried out this service for councils with the following results:
In 2010 we are promoting cycling as part of the Bristol Cycling City with the council. We have facilitated 15 street parties in Bristol which cycling advisers attend and after which they carry out house to house surveys offering information and support.
